Issue No. IV - Feature
Search & AI
How AI Is Changing the Restaurant Industry One Byte at a Time.
A running series for Sauce about what artificial intelligence actually does inside a restaurant - how people find you, how you plan a shift, and what it means when a search engine answers the question instead of sending the customer to you.

The Challenge.
Everyone was writing about AI in big, abstract terms. Restaurant owners did not need another prediction piece. They needed to know what changed this week on Google, what to put on their menu page, and whether any of it was worth their time.
A pull quote
“AI is not replacing restaurants. It is changing who hears about them first - and that is a story owners can do something about.”
- From the series brief
The Strategy.
I turned AI into a plain-language series. Each piece takes one real change - AI search results, review reading, zero-click answers, demand forecasting - and explains what it means for a single restaurant, then what to do about it on Monday morning.
III.
The Editorial Thinking.
The series works because it is written for the person standing in the kitchen, not the person at a conference. Same idea every time: here is what changed, here is why it matters to you, here is the next step.
Marginalia - the editorial mode differs from the content mode in one small way: it treats the reader as someone who might reread.
IV.
What the campaign makes.
The pieces produced under the campaign - each one designed to earn its keep on its own and to feed the next.

N° 01 - Restaurant Growth
Every City Tells a Different Story.
A national editorial campaign for Sauce, a restaurant delivery platform, that reframed delivery as a portrait of American cities rather than another round of think pieces about tickets and margins. Sauce brings the one-to-one human contact back to ordering in.

N° 02 - Fashion Storytelling
Editorials that Keep Working After the Photo Shoot
For Mrs. Momma Bear, I turned one-off fashion editorials into a repeatable ecosystem - where every shoot fed a blog, a newsletter, a social run, and a press moment.

N° 03 - Editorial Operations
Medical Aesthetics in Plain Language.
How editorial strategy helped position one of Australia's leading body contouring surgeons - Dr Bernard Beldholm and Body Contouring Surgery Center - through authoritative, patient-first education across a website of hundreds of articles.
